This field oil sketch was inspired by a painting trip to the Canadian Rockies one summer. At Gap Lake, within the Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park in Alberta. I was captivated by the Rockies grandeur and the lake’s enchanting blue-green hues. I truly love exploring my big back yard with my paintbox!
